Hey folks, This is The Desi Traveler penning down my own experiences of Kasol, Parvati Valley.

Kaosl is a hamlet in the district of Kullu, a 3 hours ride from Manali. If you are willing to visit some offbeat places in Himachal Pradesh, Kasol definitely tops the list giving you a glimpse of the typical Himachal lifestyle and adding in it the Israeli flavours.

Basically, two days are sufficient to explore Kasol excluding the famous Kheerganga Trek that often people do when they visit Kasol.

There are direct buses from Delhi as well as Manali to Kasol or you can take a bus or taxi to Bhuntar and then travel to Kasol.

The best accommodation option in Kasol is Sandhaya Hotel, Riverine Camps, The Yellow House and Parvati H.Q, they offer you amazing hospitality and view. For booking, you can use booking.com for a hassle-free booking experience. Approx rates may vary from Rs800-Rs1500/night for two persons.

Explore riverside views and enjoy the sunset in the evening by the banks of river Parvati near the famous Choj Bridge. At night explore the cafes and enjoy the nightlife with Israeli cuisine. Some famous cafes at Kasol are Jim Morrison Cafe, Freedom Cafe, Moon Dance Cafe.

Do not forget to shop at the local flea market in Kasol and add commodities that make you nostalgic about your trip to Kasol.

That's all in this blog. I hope it will help you in building your own travel diary to these offbeat places of Himachal.

Regards,

The Desi Traveler
